谌晓华出任南京大学校长
Nanjing University has recently announced that Professor Chen Xiaohua will serve as its new president, effective immediately. This marks a major milestone for the university, as Professor Chen is a highly respected academic in China and has contributed greatly in the field of materials science and engineering.
Professor Chen has had a long and distinguished career in academia. He obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University and started his academic career in 1995 as a lecturer at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. He later joined Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he rose to the position of Associate Professor. In 2005, he returned to China and joined Zhejiang University as a full professor. He has been at Nanjing University since 2015, where he has served as the Vice President in Charge of Research.
Throughout his career, Professor Chen has made significant contributions to his field. His research focuses on the design and synthesis of novel materials for energy storage, conversion, and biological applications. He has published over 200 papers in international peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Communications, ACS Nano, and Advanced Materials.
As the new president of Nanjing University, Professor Chen has a clear vision for the future of the institution.
